Following the recent hot weather, we have taken the decision to suspend bookings for activities on the Parker Pond until further notice. <\/strong>

This is due to low water levels and excessive weed growth.<\/em><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

A CENTURY OF TRADITION<\/h3><\/div>

The campsite is managed by Greater Manchester West County Scouts on land belonging to the National Trust Stamford Estate and has a long history of providing outdoor activities since 1922. It is located in tranquil unspoilt countryside only 12 miles from the centre of Manchester, within easy reach of motorway and public transport networks.<\/p>

With two indoor accommodation buildings and a variety of different size camping pitches. Our campsite is suitable for small section camps, large group camps and even district camps who would be able to book the whole site exclusively.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The site has a large modern toilet and shower block as well as a fully stocked tuck shop. It has private access to Dunham Massey House and its surrounding deer park. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
