The Parker Pond is a Class C water in the bottom corner of our campsite.
We have several barrels, poles and rope, plus buoyancy aids for raft building.

Site Equipment can only be used by either Scouts or Guides, no other organisations can use them without prior approval in writing (at the discretion of the Campsite Manager) unless a member of the Dunham Team / Site Instructor is leading the activity.
The Parker Pool used for Raft Building is a Class C water, therefore no formal qualifications are required to leader the activity. Written permission from your District Commissioner is required which should include the name of the leader in charge of the activity and that they are solely responsible for leading the activity at all times.
Written permission must be presented at time of issue of equipment, or a copy provided by email to [email protected] prior to the booking.This written permission should include the name of the leader in charge of the activity, that they have the appropriate skills and knowledge of the activity taking place and that they are solely responsible for leading the activity at all times, as per POR Rule 9.44. (See FS120623 for more information with regard to water activities, excluding swimming on waters regarded as Class C). Ensuring compliance to POR 9.42 in relation to Non Swimmer ratios.
As per the Guiding Manual, all instructors for Raft Building must hold Paddlesport Instructor Award or higher. Anyone holding a Paddlesport Instructor Award must be supervised by a Coach Award Holder unless they have been approved to work Independently.
Damages to any of the above equipment will be charged (unless stated differently) at the discretion of the Campsite Manager or their representative.
All Prices are subject to an annual review. The amended prices will be applied to all bookings, including those made prior to the release of the revised price lists.
